Electric engine fan or stay with the clutch fan??

Default Electric engine fan or stay with the clutch fan??

88 Chevrolet k1500 5.7l. Was.thinking about putting a electric fan on my truck. Is this a good idea or should I just stick with what I got??

Clutch fans are good when they work right. When they just work, they do the job just fine (clutch not working right). If you're looking to go E fan for more power, I wouldn't be bothered. Minimal gains of a couple HP perhaps. Speaking from experience with the e fans they can get pricey & will not last as long as a clutch fan with minimal to none for performance gains.

Dump the fan crutch business. I got a Flex-A-Lite electric fan. Had to manufacture a frame to hold it in the shroud, but it fit right inside the diameter, no prob.
