Gap between headlight and grille

Default Gap between headlight and grille

Put in new headlight assembly and there is a gap between the light and the grille on both sides of the light..any suggestions to fill in?

Was the gap there with the old lights? Post a picture of the light and gaps. You probably have the wrong light assemblies. What is the vehicle and year?
