Default Heating/AC Not Working, no digital display...

I drive a ‘93 Silverado 2500. The digital display on my HVAC control panel has gone out. I’m still getting power to the panel but the display isn’t working. Because of that I can’t turn on the heat or AC. I’ve changed all the fuses, still nothing a working. This started a couple of months ago but didn’t pay much thought to it because the weather hadn’t turned yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I pulled a non functioning radio/climate control unit out of a 1994 C-1500. It had gone dead, likely burned out circuits inside. Installed a used one, worked like a charm.

Default Update

I unplugged the wiring harness from the climate control unit, blew the dust out, and display is now working. However, the display is flashing and won’t actually work as far as turning on the heat. I think the truck might just need a new battery because it’s died a couple of times in the past few months but that may not be related. Any feedback?

Yes, checking the battery is a good idea, particularly if it is old. You might also, or perhaps, have some corrosion in the wiring or connectors, which is common in older vehicles, such as pickups since they take more abuse then a car can, and are often used in climates and under conditions conducive to rust and corrosion issues.
