I have a 1988 Silverado C1500. The power door locks have quit working on the driver side only. But passenger side switch locks and unlock both doors. I switch the switch's the switch works fine in the passenger side door. I've remove driver side door panel check the wire I can not see any broken wires. Everything looks good. Any suggestions on where to look next for the problem.

 

Did you say you moved the passenger side switch to the drivers door and the driver to passenger and your still had the same problem? I can't tell because it looks like your had a few typos. If that is what you did, I would look at the connector itself, sometimes on the plug attached to the truck, the springs can kind of spread apart, leading to a loose or non existent connection. If you are lucky and that is the case, you can usually just get in their with a small screw driver and push them closer again. And while you are their, check for corrosion, something I only recently learned is that the doors on all cars are designed to let water run through them, and if your plastic moister barrier wasn't on quite right, that could cause corrosion.

 

Broken wire in the door frame! Lots of work make sure you write down the color codes for each switch.
