Default Ignition not communicating with starter

My 95 k1500 won't start and when I try to start it there is no click from the starter so I'm wondering if anyone might have an idea of what it could be I think a starter relay but I could be wrong again there is no clicking sound. I was able to jump the starter with a screw driver so it's the the starter solenoid but I don't know the systems of a bad starter relay
thanks

A quick test to determine if it’s the relay is to swap it with the horn or AC clutch relay. If the engine cranks with the replacement, the starter relay is bad.

If it doesn’t click, Remove the starter relay from the under hood fuse block and use a jumper wire between pins 30 and 87. If the starter begins cranking, the switch side of the relay is in tact and you need to check for battery voltage at pin 85 with the key in the crank position.
