Default Input about selling

Hey guys,

I was wondering if I can get your guys input about how much I should ask for my truck. I'm moving in a 2-3 months from NY to Washington state. I want to sell my truck to get something more reliable/comfortable for the drive. I bought the truck last April when covid happened and the dealerships were all closed (totaled my car, needed something)

Anyways, it's a 1996 k1500, 5.0 v8, stepside. I only put about 6-8k miles on it since last April. Truck body has 170k engine has around 110k miles (from what the last owner said). The body isn't too pretty, clear coat is coming off all over, dent on the 3rd door, rust on back bumper, but the frame is good. I guess for 25yrs old it's not too bad. Interior is really clean. 1 small Crack on the dash, no tears/rips/stains. I had planned on fixing it up, but became retired early so decided to move. So I had several things fixed while owning it in that short time. Within the last 10k miles this was done
  • all new breaks/drums/lines
  • New U-joints
  • Tune up (pluggs,cap,wires,ect)
  • Rear diff seal and cover
  • Ac recharge (which just stopped blowing cold air)
  • Tailgate hinges
  • Oil pan plug replaced
mechanically the only main issue is that the check engine light keeps coming on (ever since I bought it) the shop said its misfire for #2 but everything's been replaced, and it just does it randomly. He said it's pretty common with the truck? Nothing happens besides the light randomly coming on and off.

Sorry for such a long post, just trying to get an idea on what to ask for.

Might get 3500-4500 for it.

Where do you plan to list it? i view online listings near me and compare mine to what is out there. This is where people in my area will shop...to sell it I need to have a better vehicle or be cheaper.
