Default Intemittent window issue

Truck is a 1993 C1500 Xcab V8, auto trans. Issue is that windows will work fine on start up and for part of drive....then suddenly..nothing.....truck will have to sit and cool down for 15 min or so then windows will work normally again. They act like theres no power to them. ive tried pulling the 30a circuit breaker out of fuse box when driving as that seems to heat up quite a bit then plug it back in when i get to destination, but same issue happens... any ideas on where this gremlin is? i have new window regulator/motors. Switches are original but work fine initially and after it sits.

Start by inspecting the wiring that runs through the rubber boot between the door and cab (below upper hinge). It’s very common for the wiring to break over time.

The boot can be pulled loose from the door and the cab for initial inspection - if repair is needed, remove the door panel and disconnect the wiring from the door components and pull it out.

Make sure any splices are inside the door or inside the cab (both ends if a whole section of wire needs replaced). Any splices in the boot will not last and damage the surrounding wires.
