Default K1500 with 8 bolts

Hi, i have question, how possible is 99 Chevy K1500 with 8 bolts? According owner's manual should be 8 bolts on K2500 version.

I'm guessing someone replaced the doors or trim with 1500 emblems. No 1500s had 8 lugs or those factory fender flares. Also if that was a 99 1500 it would be the newer body style.

Friend of mine have 1995 Suburban K1500 with 8 lugs also, so hows it?

I thought it was a truck. Not sure what went on with suburbans.

Are they diesels? I just read something about k1500 diesel subs with basically a 3/4 drive train.

Yes, they are 6.5 Turbodiesels both.
Do you think it could be the same 3/4ton drive train like K2500?
In this case im not sure with ordering parts such as wheels, brakes, suspension and others...

The rpo codes from the glove box will give you alot of info. Even the 2500 trucks have alot of different drivetrain combos.

Dieselplace.com has a couple good conversations on your particular situation.

check the gvwr on the door sticker. 7000lb range is a 1500

the next generation gm made 1500HD models which were 1500 labelled trucks with a 2500 series chassis and powertrain.
