Absolutely correct sir! I bought a truck that would not pass a smog test so I decided to replace all of the sensors. I replaced all but two of the most expensive ones. A friend told me that I should have purchased a good tester instead. He said that over 90% of the time, sensors are fine. They just needed cleaning. I never bought the other two, just cleaned them. It passed with flying colors. Lesson learned.
