I have had no luck finding a 95 4.3 l TBI vin z and have read that's what I need without issues. I have located a 91 jimmy4x4 4.3l TBI vin z but not sure I can make it work.

According to Powertrain Products, your engine is unique to that year.

1995 was kind of a weird transition year for many GM trucks. It's best to avoid them.

Click on the 'Applications' tab to see all models that had it.

I'm in over my head ,I do appreciate all info. and input. I follow both the suggested link,I learned a lot but not enough for me to feel comfortable making a decision on the swap, please correct me if I'm wrong but in you guys opinions ( please be judgemental of me) I need a 1995 4.3 l TBI vin z for there to ever be a chance of my driving my truck again? Do we agree?
