hi i am new to forum and just bought a 1988 chevy c2500 ext cab with a 350 and am having problems with tranny need help please if anyone can give some advice i wrote a whole book of story on someone elses post didnt know how to post till i saw this anyway in short tranny wont shift when truck is warmed up wont shift out of first and wont shift in reverse but if turn off truck for like 30 sec and then start it will shift fine. i just dont know if its a needing new tranny type of problem cause when i can get it to shift it does till pretty warmed up a bought it bout a week ago drove fine first 10 miles of a 20 mile trip came out of overdrive and would only go bout 50 mph with high rpm then just seems like got worse n worse
