I am looking to replace a wrecked 1997 chevy silverado c1500 4x4 (350 vortex, auto, 3 door extended cab, stepside etc) it only has front end damage (motor and drive train intact and everything aside from the front end is in excellent shape)
My question is what would be the newest truck I could get that could still use a lot of the drive train and/or body parts from the 97?

 

you can use old body style 1999's....new body style from 1999 to 2006 won't fit.


c=2wd...a c1500 is a rwd, a k1500 is a 4wd

 

Lucky you, I have a 97 extended cab with no motor or trans. Front looks good. Let me know if your interested or want pics
