I'm replacing the fuel pump on my plow truck and when I went to connect the new pump to the existing lines I noticed that the connections were not compatible. The fuel line has female brass compression fittings that are 5/16 and 3/8 with male to male adapters on them. I took the brass male to male adapters off and brought those to a few auto parts stores and a hardware store and only the guy at the hardware store knew what I was looking for but didn't have it in stock. From looking up the fittings on the pump it looks like the connectors on the new pump have 14 and 16 thread pitch. Is there any way to connect these lines?
