Default Park start

1995 chevy k1500. Will start in neutral but not in park. All fuses good brand new neutral safety switch 2nd one. All lights work including reverse lights park light on cluster doesn't light up either everything else is fine. Any ideas would be great thks.

The rod must not be moving the switch all the way. Dis connect the switch from the column, move it to the park position, if it starts the rod needs adjusting, or the switch isn't quite in the right position.

Ok I changed the neutral safety switch on the trans 4l60e. Which switch are u referring to on the column

1995 the switch was moved to the tranny.

That's the one i changed twice thinking the first one was also bad I'm at a loss now not really sure what's going on

You can "kinda" see how that is adjusted, and I think that's the issue.
