Default Power steering still not working

I drive a 1998 c1500 and the other day my steering got hard to turn and I knew this was coming because I was hearing it whine when I cranked up my truck and other times when I was driving. I just replaced the power steering pump and bled it out and now I have worse power steering than before. Any help??

Search "GM Bleeding Procedure" A PDF comes up showing detailed PS bleed procedure. My guess if you still have air in the system. I tried to copy the link here but had no luck

Just bled it the way the GM procedure told me to. Still zero power steering. There’s no air or foamy substance in fluid. Could it be clogged lines? Or a bad pump from O’Reilly? My power steering was going out so I put a new one on and now have zero sign of power steering. Thanks again

Did you do this with the engine running?

I had a new rebuilt Oreilly's pump not work on my 96 K1500. Spent all afternoon bleeding and bleeding the friggin' thing. Finally pulled it off and took back to OReilly's for another one--the second one worked just fine.
