Hit a patch of ice and spun, I turned into it hard and when I went to pull away my power steering was gone. I checked the fluid it's full I checked the belt it's fine and the power steering pump had never made any noises before

 

Yeah its going to be the pump, have heard of other people having done this specially if you turned it and hit hard against the stop .
