Power steering when cold but not warm
I have a 1998 GMCsierra 1500 z71 with the 5.7 . I have power steering when the truck is cold but as it warms up i have next to no ssteering. Resivor is full. What can be the cause of it?

If the hot PS fluid is foamy, then air is getting into the system (a leak). But it is likely that you have a weak serpentine belt tensioner and maybe a worn belt. As the belt heats up it loses grip and the PS begins to fail.
