Default Shaking for 4 or 5 seconds

I’ve got a c2500 .. while I was driving yesterday it shook violently for 4 or 5 seconds
no check engine
drove 2 miles to my house just fine
then I drove it to work this morning 30 miles , without any problems
what can this be … and that’s the first time it hampened

it hampened wile I was on the gas at about 20mph

That is very strange. What was the weather like? And how much fuel was in the tank?

Was it raining? I was just wondering if it was a moisture issue.

Did you notice if the truck happened to be shifting at the time the shake occurred? What about any sudden change in speed? Pulling left or right?

There are a lot of possible explanations, especially if it’s only happened once.

Start by checking fluids in the transmission and rear diff and check for damage to the driveshaft and tires.

Inspect the shocks, coil springs and leaf springs for damage.

Chock the wheels, shift to neutral with the key on, engine off, and inspect the u-joints for play.

Get the wheels off the ground and rock the tires top to bottom to check for loose wheel bearings - this will also check for movement in the ball joints.
