Starting issues (1988 C1500 5.0L)
Im not going to leave any details out here...
a few days ago i got to about a fifth of a tank of gas,went to a station im unfamiliar with,after filling up to nearly a full tank,started right up and drove home without issue,the next day i go to start her up and it sounds like she's just about to turn over but doesn't,i figure it could have been bad fuel,i siphon all of it out with a hand pump siphon,go and get about 2 and a half gas from a station i trust,i try starting her a few more times nothing,i hook up a battery charger thinking i could have possibly discharged it enough for it to not turn over,try turning over a few more times...again sounds like she's just about to turn over but doesn't,i hear fuel pump kick on each time i turn the keys a slot or 2 in the ignition as i usually do,i wait about 15 minutes try starting it again and eventually she turns over slowly sounding as if it was about to well not turn over again,then eventually reaches proper (normal) idle speed.
I got more gas from my trusted station and go home the next day i go to start it same issue upon suggestion (i still don't agree with it lol) i held down the gas pedal while trying to turn over and it starts and idles just fine,however i haven't had to do this before,a friend of mine initially thought it could have been the fuel pump getting ready to kick the bucket,or possibly clogged injectors the battery seems to be fine however i will replace it with a new one as soon as i can probably a week or two
anyone have any ideas or suggestions I'm all ears! Also im going to attach an audio file of what it sounds like.

It could be something else, but bad gasoline is a killer. Find a Chevron, Shell, Phillips 66, Union, or Texaco (which is Chevron) and you will have good gasoline. The corporations MAKE sure of that
and the independents don't. You might have gasoline coming out of a dispenser filter that's 5 years old at an El Cheapo gas station, and fuel that hasn't been checked for water contamination.
I am not a fan of Arco. They may keep their filters clean but their gasoline is not top tier.
Everything that is cheaper is cheaper for a reason.
