Transmission won't try to shift to 3rd
I have a '94 k1500 with a freshly remanufactured 4l60e. I put the transmission in myself and it has never even tried to shift to 3rd. 1st, 2nd, and Reverse shifts fine... Since it's a new remanufactured transmission idk what's wrong. Any help is much appreciated, Thanks

1) Check for codes even if the CEL isn’t lit - you probably won’t get anything but it doesn’t hurt to check.
2) Did you have difficulty removing the connectors when you removed the transmission? They are held into the range/PNP switch with glue from the factory - even if you used a heat gun to remove them, replacing the connectors is recommended because they’re difficult to seat and seal correctly.
3) What engine does it have so I can check the wiring diagrams if needed?

It's the 5.7
I didn't have to use a heat gun to remove the connectors... Everything disconnected pretty easily
