V6 To V8 Swap

I’m wanting to know how hard it is to swap a 96 5.7 Vortec into my 98 4.3 Vortec, it there any plug and play to it? Or do I have to Do some modifications?

Well you're going to want to use the ecm from the 5.7 and hopefully they both have the same trans

Yeah they’re both the 4l60e would you know if I have to get different motor mounts?

cant swear to yours but i know on the 73-87 trucks its a different mounting brackets. i would imagine these were the same way
