What’s Everyone Using For Cheap Green Coolant?
Beware. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
I don't see the point of pinching pennies on something that only needs to be done every several years, but which sits in my engine the whole time and is part of a critical system.

Based on my inter web research there seems to be conflicting and vague information regarding changing to the universal stuff. I’m inclined to make this cheap and easy without sacrificing quality. This seems to be the way to go.
It is just a matter of flushing, including having the heater turned on high position to flush it all out well. No need to worry as long as temps are above 32 F.
My goal isn’t to change coolant types. It’s to find the least expensive green coolant. The inter web is loaded with information about how to move from one coolant type to another and why not to. I actually answered my own question . Amazon sells the green stuff for $10.00 a gallon and if you have Prime or spend $25.00 or more they will ship it free. That’s as cheap as I think I can expect. Iam going to buy 3 and avoid any potential problems real or imagined. Thanks again to everyone.
I only hope that you realize that you cannot simply pour it into your street drainage system. I have no idea what it would do to a farm-type of waste drainage. I will need to look into this matter as I need to drain the coolant on my 15' Malibu soon enough. You do need to keep it away from pets like cats and dogs or it will poison them as many coolants do not contain an additive that makes coolants not taste sweet to such animals and it will destroy their kidneys, leading to their deaths.
