So i was changing spark plugs,the wire set and distributor as well as the rotor,after hooking everything back up properly (or so i thought) it will not start,i noticed 2 disconnected wire/plugs and i don't know what they are and just as important..where they go or connect,i feel like one of these being disconnected is the reason the vehicle won't start,any help would be appreciated!
EDIT:yes i realize the AC cut off is broken,im short,i was stupid and when working on the distributor i leaned on a bunch of stuff

 

I don’t know if it is the case with your truck, but sometimes they will only make 1 or 2 different wiring harnesses for all the trucks, so those plugs might be for components you don’t have, and never did have. It is somtimes cheaper for them just to use the same harness on every truck, instead of making a different one for every option package. As long as those plugs where not part of what you took off in your work, they are not the reason for your no start. Odds are VERY high it has to do with whatever work you just did. Either you didn’t put something back the way it came off, or you got a bad part in the mix, one that was dead in box. Best of luck too you👍🏼

That plug looks very dirty like it has never been plugged in. I agree with Mr. Dude, look back to your work to find the problem.
Was it runnig prior to the work performed?
Does it try to run/start/fire - describe current symptoms please.

 

While doing the work, did you remove the distributor and then put it back in?

 

I think I might have some info for him but he has not replied telling us whether he still needs help or not.

 

Sorry i wasn't getting email notifications like i should have been (i know i set it to notify replies) i solved the issue,it was either timing was off or a spark plug was loose! Now how do i delete or close this?
