So I have a 02 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0
The problem I’m having is the truck feels like its in 2nd gear from a dead stop. The problem is most noticeable when you take a left turn…its like if you start to accelerate it slips into 1st gear. If you hold the brake and gas pedal at the same time it does not do it. Its also noticeable if your climbing a hill at a very low speed (like slow enough for 1st gear) i can feel like it’s fighting between 1st and 2nd.
trans level is good.
color is good.
Trans has been rebuilt.
transfer case has been rebuilt.
I also tested the TPS. It’s getting 5v to main power, .58v at idle 4.30v wot at the signal wire with no spikes. Good ground also.
Have checked all ground points and clean and replaced.
Just can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated!!
