Hey new here, I just got an 04 silverado from my uncle after its been sitting all winter in minnesota. since i have gotten it the rear doors on the extended cab haven't been able to be opened. the top latch works fine but the lower latch doesnt budge. i have checked the rods to see if they have become detached but they all still tight and moving with the handle. looking for tips to remove the latch and where i can go to find a new one.

 

Welcome from Florida. Soak the latch in Blaster and keep working them, tapping them when possible and they should work themselves loose enough to open.
