Unhappy 05 silverado bucks, jerks, then dies! HELP

my 05 silverado 205k miles just started running like it has a horrible misfire. itll buck and jerk on accelerating from a stop then will dies ive replaced the fuel pump, cps, plugs, and wires.
My mechanic was able to get it to drive normal for the last 6 months by resetting my computer but sadly today i had to be towed a mile from home back home after driving about 30 miles to and from work. someone please point me into the right direction.

Check your ignition coils. You should be able to test them using a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) set to ohms. The primary side will show a low resistance (a few ohms) and the secondary side will show much higher resistance.

Also, you should be able to find what the resistance specifications are here:

Good Luck!

My only issue is that its not throwing a CEL. leads me to believe that it could be my tranny again or even an electrical issue.. i brought it into chevy yesterday to get a diagnostic ran on the whole thing hoping to see what they come up with. $600 just to look at the damn thing. They said it could take up to 3 days to check it out. thank you for the input and response! i let it sit over this last weekend and when i started it up it drove fine so it has me stumped. My mechanic flashed my computers last time this happened because he couldnt find anything. and it ran good for about 8 months up until last friday thank god i was a mile from home so towing it was a breeze.
