Default 11.9 second 99 Chevy Silverado ...

... yes that’s correct! With a performance tuner upgrade and a Spectre oiled air filter (and cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body), my 99 Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.3l, V8, 325, extended cab, ran an 11.9 quarter mile. This is according to a quarter mile performance test on the programmer. It recorded my trap speed at 81mph and my 0-60 time was 6.8sec. The tuner also recorded my top hp at 242 during this run and my peak torque was 419, both at about 4.06sec into the run. Can anyone please tell me the approx flywheel hp and if the hp recorded in the tuner is correct? The tuner was hooked up to the vehicle and all, but to run a quarter mile time that fast, seems like you’d need a lot more horses pulling your buggy. I have not had this vehicle dyno tested... thanking you in advance... 🚜
