My 1999 chevy silverado 1500 with the 4.8L LS motor with 330,000+ Miles on it hyrdolocked 2 months ago so A month ago I paid 909$ For 4.8 Ls Out of a 2000 Chevy silverado 1500 Rwd. i get the motor put in get it All tightened up Change oil an filter & Plugs I attempted to start an Findiut my Orginal start is Shoot The teeth work Gone....So I Out Out 170$ For a starter then Motor is Spinning over but no crank I inspect Plugs an all that Find out coolant temperature sensor is broke so I get buy that sensor then I find out fuel pressure regulator on the rail is Leaking SO I replace that 130$ for that I have put a complete different set of racks and wires on it.Still no crank.I have changed the Crank sensor.... I have been getting mixed. Answers on this i'm using my original p c m Since pcms are vin programmed And it's a different motor with a different Vin.Is that the cause of my no spark I'm able to get the p.C m for the donor engine for 85$ Or do I need 2 go to dealer An have pcm Re programmed all together Adice please I am A 27 Year old An have Very limited budge I'm broke as we speak Dealer will reprogram For 159$ An Yes I have reset the pcm already like 3 times
