2000 5.7 Crank No Start
Hello, I have a 2000 3500 model with a 5.7. We had to do some work to the pump on our snowplow which is located under the hood. I took the air box and filter out just for easier access. Anyways, we go to start the truck up and it will crank but not start. In the past year we have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and spider injection kit. It has ran and started great for us since then up to now. We can spray some starting fluid down the intake, and it acts like it wants to fire. This is leading us to conclude that we are getting spark. We tapped into the fuel rail on the Schrader valve, and we have adequate fuel pressure (60ish) it holds fine so we do not believe there are any leaks. We’ve tried unhooking both sensors in plastic tunnel running from air box to intake, still nothing. All of my tests are leading me to think the problem is in the injector kit or regulator, but I wanted an opinion before tearing the intake off. One more thing to add, the truck was not sitting, we brought it into our shop like I had mentioned to work on the plow, and it just sat for a few days before we tried to get it out. Any help is appreciated, TIA
