2000 Chevy Dually Alignment Problems
I own a like new 2000 Chevy Extended Cab Dually (gas) which I never could stand the California rake---front end lower than rear. I recently purchased new front end springs and 2 1/2" spacers. Had a reputable shop install same and replace some front end components at the same time. Today I took it to an alignment shop and they could not align it within specs. Claim I need adjustable upper ball joints. Any help from the members would be appreciated..

not sure which build you have; a 2000 is change over year for 2500's. post a pic of the upper control arms and body. the new bs don't have press in upper ball joints so longer upper control arms made for lifted vehicles will give you back in spec
caster isn't a tire wear angle so if it out its not a major deal. if its out to far it can create heavy steering, poor return to center and steering wheel shimmy. camber is a tire wear angle so you want that in spec.

The truck is a 3500 series extended cab dually. The 3500 used the old body style for year 2000. It seems to me that I had the upper ball joints replaced a few years ago. Where would I find longer upper control arms

Might have found the answer to my problem. Just ordered from McBay Performance adjustable upper ball joints. About $150.00 but well spent if I can get the truck aligned.
