got a code of po449 started checking things out and found that my evap vent valve solenoid is not opening or closing . I removed the vent valve checked the power at the connector it's got 12.50 volts and at the battery there is 13.40 volts. so I tested the valve at the battery the solenoid is working but when I go back to the connector nothing. so I rewired the connector it just want open or close . what the heck else could it be? 12.50 should be enough to operate the vent valve. I've checked the ground . HELP
I also bought another valve and it does the same thing. well after some looking I ran a ground wire from the battery back to the connector at the vent valve and it works so I guess I lost my ground ?
