Default 2000 Silverado Auto headlights

I have a 2000 Silverado LT 4X4. The auto headlights stopped working a little while ago. When you cut the ignition on the lights come on whatever time of day it is. The sensor on the dash has been replaced, the headlight switch. I can find nothing wrong. When you apply the emergency brake before you turn the ignition on they don't come on as they shouldn't or so I have read. I don't want to disable this option. I want to fix it!!!!!!!!! Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Shane.

Possibly shorted wire to the dash sensor. Also check your relays.

Agreed. Something has gone wrong with your daylight sensor...

Sensor replaced twice. Checked with a meter and is working correctly. Thanks.

The sensor can work properly but if there is a shorted wire you will have a problem.

I think this is my problem. I measured the wires on the plug going into this board and I can see the resistance change. What is this any ideas??
