Default 2000 Z71 Silverado Heater Issues

My heater started blowing cold air only. Wouldn't switch to hot when moving temp control. I had seen the problem at the end of summer with the AC but in reverse. Took it to a local garage. They changed out one of the motors in the heater box. You can now change the temp, but my heater isn't blowing as hot as it did before. Took it back and they re-calibrated it. Helped some, but still not as hot as before. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks

I have the same problem on my 2001. I could hear my A/C compressor cycling very often even when it was blowing out of the vents in the dash. I check the temp in said vents and it was about 60 degrees. one of my heater hoses was hot and the other one was cold. I pulled the relay that runs the A/C and my temp in said vents went up to 140 degrees. I believe my heater control in bad but I'm not sure yet.

is the coolant full? I don't remember off the top of my head if you have to pull the dash to do that actuator but if they did there may be some air in the cooling system
