I have a 2001 Chevy 6.0 HD 4x4 love the truck I get attached to things.Anyway its cold out again and in the morning when I start her up put it in gear it stalls .
This has been going on for years I spent numbers of hours on this problem to no avail. Ive had success with most other issue and there's more then a few .4 years ago i upgraded to a ATK LQ4 6.0 long block HP93 engine Summit racing offers for Chevy pickups it was close to $4000 runs great ,its fast and pulls well
The stalling problem with the truck was there before the crate upgrade and after the upgrade, Summer time its pretty good the colder the temperature is outside the worst it is. I have to warm it up, after warm its good .... Ive read about this problem for years and replaced almost every part,here are some parts I haven't replaced. Alternator12 to 14 years old ,Battery is 4 years old, throttle body and actuator valve,I put MSN coils in when the crate was installed they are 4 years old I replace 4 of them in the last 4 years already. the MSN'S either cracked or failed . there junk I will never buy again.So I could bite the bullet and replace the other 4 why not that's what I do. I'm thinking and hope its something simple.
I'm not a Mechanic , but I'm learning as I go and I really enjoy working on vehicles..few years back I was laying on my back installing a new crank sensor and it worked for a day or 2 so I thought LOL
I think I'm going in a circles I missed something EZ Please Help
I wish it would just break already whatever it is I been waiting years I mean years.I just retired a few months ago so its really driving me crazy now
Could it be the intake plastic manifold that sits on the intake gasket possible be warped(I read that)It never over heated . intake Gaskets been replaced twice
fuel pump,new 36lb injectors new everything......................
