Looking to buy a 2003 silverado pick up and dont have any glove box codes, the VIN is 1GCEK19T53E164211, It has Z71 stickers and is a LS model according to the vin, i cant find a place to find a build sheet and the vehicle is 300 miles away at a dealer ship. Can some one tell me if its possible to be a Z71?

Im sorry I have so many questions but you guys are really great and full of info. So a 1998 silverado with the 5.7 and the 2003 silverado with a 5.3 im looking at are the motors the same generation? fuel injection the same? is the 2003 a much better truck? The 1998 only has 98K on the clock and the 2003 has 147K I dont want to buy a dodge or a ford I dont like the engine lay out and chevy has always ridden better in my view.
