I have a few questions about a: 2004 Silverado Crew Cab Z71 4x4 that I am looking at.

1) With engine running, transmission in Park, electronically switching from 2wd to 4Hi and to 4LO and back and forth - It shifts normal and quietly (but can be heard shifting) (in Park shifting to and from 2wd to 4 hi and back and forth).
2) engine running and transmission in Neutral, shift from 2wd to 4hi and the transfer case motor shifts Loud but shifts, also shifts loudly from 2wd to 4lo, and back and forth, all shifts are Loud when transmission is in Neutral and engine running

*Question: Does this sound Normal? I have had a few of these rigs and never a load shift before.

**Also... What Automatic Transmission would is in this vehicle? (5.3l engine and 373 gear ratio).
