A mechanic came and looked at it, he said I had spark and fuel pump is fine,, it just keeps shutting itself off.

I'm beginning to think a bad BCM ? I tried the PASSOCK relearn and no fix. The passlock light goes off right away like it is supposed to.

62 PSI so fuel pressure is OK , he hooked up a scanner and saved all the info, he will go home and look at it.

This cured it, even though the passlock dash light was acting like there was no passlock problem.

I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 v6 Manuel trans all stock and I’m having a problem I was driving and it turned into a mechanical bull and I had to pull over the truck would start and idle but sound like it was about to die. I got a buddy to tow me home and have been trying to figure out what’s wrong. I rand a code reader and it said my canister vent solinoid was weak so I replaced that and still nothing. My fuel pump turns on so it’s not that but the trucks acting like it isint getting enough gas. Somone said it could be eletrical but I have spark and don’t know how to tell if it’s something else. Could my fuel pump be bad and not working right or is it somthing else? I’m gonna replace my fule filter today after school and work cause mabye its clogged but I don’t think that’s the problem. Thanks
