Default 2005 Silverado 1500 2wd parking brake adjustment

I have a 2005 Silverado 1500 2wd with rear drum brakes. The cable at the equalizer is loose (the cable that goes to the passenger rear drum, will include image) how should I go about adjusting it from the pedal or the drum?

you should adjust the drum first... both sides. them with the correct drum clearance adjust the cable if needed.
the cable should rarely need adj ustment. When the drums and shoes are changed...if not set up right ;the ebrake will be loose and the service brakes will have a deep pedal.

something is obviously wrong with your set up...correct cable?
