Looking for thoughts from anyone who’s upgraded their differential. Stock on my 2005 Z71 is 3.42. The brand my local trans shop carries offers 3.73, 3.90, and 4.11. I do tow a camper half a dozen times per year (weight is 6k), and I’m in a hilly area (upstate SC), but also do some freeway driving...I want to see a difference, but I don’t want to go too aggressive. I want a bit more torque, but don’t want the RPM whining too high on the freeway. And, I know front and rear must be done. Which would you suggest?
