I just purchased a 06 4.3 single cab Silverado. Doesn’t start but as soon as I change the ignition coil it starts and after 2-3 days it’s burns it back out. I’ve change spark plugs, distributor cap, computer and it’s still continues to burn out my ignition coil. Any idea what the problem can be ?

 

Try changing the ignition coil to distributor wire. I ran across this which might explain what is happening:
