Default (2006 4.3L silverado) Need help with oil leak

I have this pretty decent size gap between my oil pan and my transmission that i’m 99% sure is not supposed to be there, I found this after realizing that i had ZERO oil in the truck. I just really need help and i have no other vehicle to use to get to work and to school.

When oil leaks are really bad, your best bet is to spray it down with degreaser, hose it off, then add oil (since it's empty now?) and see if you can spot the leak. You may need to run the engine first, but when it's a complete mess like this, that's how I address it.

I would also check to make sure that you are not missing any transmission to engine mounting bolts. It appears that the transmission is tilted relative to the engine.

Regarding the oil leak, check out the oil pressure sending unit to make sure it has not started leaking. It will be located on the rear of the engine just behind the intake manifold.

Good Luck!
