Default 2006 Silverado 1500 4.3

While driving truck would sputter, then run normal, then sputter then finally quit running.. Poured gas in throttle body and still didn’t try to start.. Pulled no. 1 and 2 plugs and didn’t see spark.. I had thought fuel issue way it acted at first.. Rotor, cap, plugs and wires were replaced earlier this year.. Could rotor and/or cap go out? Not an experienced mechanic especially with these computer controlled vehicles.. 217,000 miles.. Any ideas without me having to buy ton of parts to change out?

Check the fuel pressure regulator to make sure it's internal diaphragm has not broken.

I have seen the off brand rotors and caps fail shortly after installation. Last year I bought an off brand rotor and cap for a 4.3 and it ran great for a while. Then it quit running. I could see burn marks on the rotor and cap. Replaced it with AC Delco parts and it ran great after that. This may not be your problem, but it's worth a look.
