Hello everyone this is my first time on Chevrolet forums I recently purchased a 2000 Chevrolet 2500 LS 6.0. It has a problem I have not encountered before regarding the instrument cluster. When I bought it the cluster did not work so I replaced it with one from a pick and pull that worked in the vehicle I got it out of but nothing works except for the turn signals and hazards the transmission temp tach and speedometer is totally dead and nothing but a wiggle from the other gauges. When I plug in the scan tool everything comes on and stays on and seems to work normally like I flipped a switch. Has anyone encountered this before? The vehicle may have had an edge something programmer on it at some point. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
