I'm really struggling to find a replacement for latch cables on our cover. AFAIK it's a Chevy cover and not third party, there's a Chevrolet logo on the lock.

The cable looks pretty simple, plastic coated with a metal lug at one end. The lug end is laced through the back of the lock and is clamped down at the other end.

Has anyone got experience replacing these?

I did, I'm unsure if what we have is called a tonneau cover, and if not what it is I'm meant to be looking for.

The problem is mostly that I've no idea of the name of the parts.

 

Any chance of taking a picture of it and where it is located. That might give people a better idea of what it is.
