Default Used module

Hey ycgoat, im thrilled to see you fixed the notorious GMT800 abs problem. I am in the same boat you were in. Im looking at a used unit that is pretty cheap from a scrap yard. It works, as they have a picture of the truck cluster, while running and at operating temp(but who knows). I have the same TRW unit as you, part number and all. Would the module (no pump mines fine) from the scrap yard need to be programmed to my VIN? Same TRW 13567146 module, 4 wheel abs, disc brakes, and 4x4. Thank you in advance.

While chasing my tail on this I bought an Autel tuner but only used it on the scrap yard assembly to help bleed the brakes. It supposedly cycles the pump to help ensure no air is trapped in the ABS pump. I bleed the brakes manually, drove the truck a few days before using the tuner and could not tell a difference in the brake feel.
