Default Back Brake lines blew, Now they won't bleed

Like the title says, the driver's side back brake blew and I've changed it out now it won't bleed, it started with just a few drips of fluid with no pressure and now there's none at all to either brake. Brakes work up front but it's getting none to the back, tried for a few hours bleeding at the back bleeder valve and with a vacuum bleeder with no luck. Anyone have an idea what's the issue?

no idea the model year. some have a proportioning valve that require a $20 tool to open the valve. this will allow fluid to flow to the rear.

It's an 04 model, where would the valve be located at?

'04 would have ABS right. I thought ABS replaced proportioning valves.

It has abs, would you have to bleed that abs module somehow?

I've heard of trapped air bubbles in the ABS, but not a blockage.

You have to get the abs module to open to allow fluid flow to the rear, generally done with a computer that opens it. I've heard people have turned the key on and then bleed the brakes not sure if it works or not.

No. ABS is fail-safe. I can pull the fuse and disable ABS and I can still stop the vehicle.

here is a pic of the p valve for an 04 g van. look for the rubber cap and tag.
if you got it...you need the tool.

you are correct in that aspect, but when it comes to bleeding the brakes it takes either a scan tool to open the abs valve to let the fluid flow through it. If you dont believe me call GM service dept
