A/C condenser fan
2000 K3500 LS
How does the A/C condenser fan work????
The one on this truck only seems to spin very slow.
I have tested the fan, and it works fine.
On other trucks, the fan would come on whenever the A/C was on.
Seem like that is the way it's suppose to work.
But I've read that, on some models, it only comes on then the high side pressure is to high.
Funny thing on this truck, the fan was not plugged in from the factory.
Still had the black tape around it and the wiring.
Anyone have a wire diagram????

It sounds like you have a standard fan clutch that is not electronically controlled. It is controlled by the temperature around it. When the temperature goes up, the clutch engages the fan. Looking at rockauto.com, I do not see any electronically controlled clutches for your truck.
The wire you mention that is taped up might be for an ambient air temperature sensor.
