Unhappy Cadillac Dash Swap- No Cluster or HVAC Control lights

Hello

I bought a 04 2500 Silverado LS that already had a caddy dash swapped into it. The cluster and HVAC controls do not light up when the lights are on Was curious what there is to check to try and fix this problem. Curious if power wire to lights is broke or is their a fuse for them or what? any info would be greatly appreciated thank you!

I believe that the instrument panel and HVAC control lights are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM).

You would need to find the signal wire or wires that go to the BCM from the instrument panel and the HVAC controller.

It might not be a trivial exercise.
