Default Can I fit 285/75/r16 on my Silverado?

I've got a 99 RCSB Silverado 2wd work truck model. Right now its got
235/75/r16 that are almost bald and I don't like the look of them because they
barely fill the wheel wells. I want to step up to 285's but I don't want to lift it. Also
I don't have a torsion bar, I have coils. Will the 285's fit?? If they rub a little bit it will be alright.
I will do some cutting if I have to.

I run 285/75r16s on my 2500hd and they rubbed on the front until I cut the valence under the bumper a little, the back fit with acres of room, you being a 2wd 1/2 ton I'd suggest 285s in the rear and 245-255 front unless you want the same tire front and rear

I ended up buying some 265/75/r16's and they fill the wheel wells nicely. No rub no trimming and theses tires actually measure out to 32's.
