Hello; Do you recall the name or model of the CD player? Also, the instillation package that makes the tones work and make it plug and play? I imagine I can give them the year & specs of the truck if you do not. Thanks for the information.

 

I bought a JVC unit at Best Buy and the dash kit for a single din on EBAY. It would be best if you put your Truck year and specifics on crutchfield field for the harness. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120AXD...e.html?tp=2977

Should look something like this, plug in ur truck year and specific trim for an exact match.

 

 

Dont forget the antenna adapter also.

 

Hello; I have not done anything about the CD/radio as yet. The radio plays fine and I happen to have a decent CD in it which still plays fine. I listened to it a few days ago for a bit. Only problem is trying to get a different CD to load in. They eject fine but get stuck most times when i stick a new one in. I can eventually nudge it and get one in.
I will eventually do something. Most likely the aftermarket suggestions. Life has kept me busy with other issues lately, so I let it ride.

Mine was doing that before i installed the new one. I would do a lil hammer fist tap on the dash above the radio and would spit the cd right out haha
